Directorate: Financial Accounting
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Computer literate. No experience required. Knowledge of BAS will be an added advantage. Competencies And Attributes: Ability to work independently and in a team. Good communication (verbal and written) skills. Knowledge of financial accounting processes and procedures. Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential matters.
Duties:
Handle all aspects with regard warrant vouchers. Control over official banking accounts including amendments. Control over BAS input documents. Assist with clearance of asset and liability accounts. Handling of telephone queries, faxes and letters. Liaise with the relevant bodies/sections in the execution of his/her tasks. Execute the responsibilities of officials as stipulated in Section 45 of the Public Finance Management Act. Management of assets.
