Job description

Who we are

Edison Stone is a brand house that develops and distributes top brands and products for the
kitchen and homeware market in South Africa. Based in Cape Town, we focus on the wholesale
and distribution of industry-leading kitchen and homeware brands. Our real strength lies in our
values and relationship-based culture. We share a passion for doing things well and doing
things right, and a love of cooking and everything in the kitchen. Each of us brings something
different to the team, and we celebrate that diversity.
We're looking for a full-time Account Coordinator to join our Wholesale team. If you enjoy
working with products, systems and data, and like being the person who makes sure everything
is right, this is for you.

Responsibilities

What your role looks like

You'll be responsible for the accuracy and quality of Edison Stone's wholesale catalogue and
product information across our systems and retail platforms. That covers two things: listing new
products from our brands, and keeping existing product information up to date. This includes
specs, technical details, imagery, pricing and warranties.
You'll be the link between Edison Stone, our brands and our retail partners. It will be your job to
make sure retailers receive everything they need to create high-quality product listings. Before
anything is uploaded or shared, you'll do the first quality check on content, images,
specifications and costings. That means spotting gaps and inconsistencies and following up
until the information meets our standards.
You'll work closely with our Key Account Managers, Planning Analysts, Sales Administrators
and Sourcing team. This isn't a purely administrative role. It suits someone who takes
ownership, manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and is always looking for
ways to improve how things are done.
You’ll also look after day-to-day product compliance, including collecting, checking and
maintaining certificates, test reports, approvals, permits, and packaging and labelling
information provided by our brands. You’ll keep records accurate and up to date, follow up on
outstanding documentation and requirements, and flag any missing information to the Sourcing
and Wholesale teams. You’ll ensure products have the necessary compliance in place before
importation and going to market.

Who you are
You're organised, meticulous and naturally curious, with a genuine interest in retail and
products. You notice the details others miss, and you understand that a small error can have a
big impact when several teams rely on your information. You take initiative, investigate problems
and find practical solutions. You communicate confidently with colleagues, retailers and brands,
both in person and over email or chat. You work well on your own and as part of a team. You're

a systems person who enjoys learning new tools and processes, and for you, the little things
matter.
