Job description

General Job Information:

Job Purpose: The I-Sight Administrator is responsible for monitoring the I-Sight Control system for any bumps/accidents/lockouts, recording thereof and feedback given after each shift

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-6 months of experience in Logistics / Distribution
  • Microsoft (MS Office)
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and own car advantageous

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • Grade 12 or NQF4 equivalent qualification

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMINISTRATION

  • Monitor the I-Sight system for any incidents
  • Record incidents as per SOP and provide feedback per shift
  • Ensure all documents received are filed
  • I-Sight training (how to retrieve info from I-sight loading info etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to driver profiles
  • Ensure loading of new operators is done according to experience (profiles)
  • Enforce the profile setting
  • Compile daily impact report at the end of each shift
  • Collect disciplinary documents
  • Load disciplinary info onto I-sight
  • Report on license expiring dates three months prior
  • Establish the need for driver training
  • Report all Incidents (Medium and High) to I-Sight Supervisor

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING

  • Manage all MHE controllers to ensure they perform their duties in accordance with job description and requests from the management
  • Monitor all reports online and submit call requests to MHEs for verification and confirmation;
  • Attend to all shock reports sent via email from the I-sight system immediately
  • Immediate shock notifications must be printed out and assigned to an MHE Controller to attend to the Shock Incident
  • Verify that all documentation is in order and received, once the shock report has been completed and returned
  • Upload scanned files according
  • These documents are as follows -
  • Signed Email Shock notification by MHE, Driver, and Supervisor
  • Colour photo of Driver
  • Detailed investigation report signed by MHE, Driver, and Supervisor
  • Workshop report verifying incident and estimated repair cost
  • Update spreadsheets set out by the manager to Monitor all Incidents and report any major incidents to the I-Sight Supervisor
  • Conduct regular floor walks with MHE Controllers to ensure duties are performed
  • Ensure there is ongoing communication with the Workshop with regards to machines in repairs and keep records
  • Compare MHE’s daily reports to those received via the I-Sight System to make sure that Incidents reported online are confirmed, if there are any discrepancies, investigate at the end of each shift
  • Complete any additional duties that are set out by the I-Sight Supervisor

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Establish and build a relationship with client management
  • Communicate and provide feedback regularly to clients and resolve client queries timeously
