Buyer's Assistant Telco Mr Price Money

This role plays an important part in supporting the buying function through administration, reporting, supplier coordination, and product management activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Buyer and wider Commercial team.
• Assist with stock planning, inventory monitoring, and identifying potential product shortages.
• Prepare and analyse sales, stock, and supplier performance reports.
• Support product listings, price updates, promotional activities, and new product launches.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product information, pricing, and specifications are accurate and up to date.
• Follow up on supplier agreements, deal letters, rebates, and finance-related queries.
• Work closely with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure promotions and product information are communicated effectively.
• Help resolve product, supplier, and operational queries in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate data 

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.
• 1-3 years' experience in an administrative, retail, buying support, merchandising, or supplier-facing role.
• Experience within retail, telecommunications, or a commercial environment would be advantageous.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable working with data, reports, and multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle and telecommunications products would be beneficial.
